Canada Recovery Hiring Program (CRHP)

Last week, the Department of Finance of Canada released a backgrounder on the new Canada Recovery Hiring Program (CRHP).Starting in Period 17 (June 6 to July 3), the wage subsidy will usually be the maximum of:

The existing Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS); or
The new Canada Recovery Hiring Program (CRHP)

For all of our clients, we will continue to assess whether they qualify for the wage subsidies.

We will calculate both the CEWS and CRHP in order to maximize the claim.
